PaGaian Cosmology On-Line
A Celebration of Goddess and Cosmogenesis in the Wheel of the Year
a journey through eight Seasonal Moments (Sabbats), joining with Earth’s everyday sacred journey around Sun – the Solstices, Equinoxes and cross-quarter days … for the novice or the experienced.
The year long course may be tailored to your needs and desires: each self will develop the material in their own unique way. PaGaian Cosmology is a unique synthesis of science, female metaphor (Goddess) and Paganism, authored by Glenys Livingstone Ph.D.
The course may expand your perspective and poetic/ceremonial expression of Earth’s Seasonal Creativity, or it may serve to help you begin a devotional Earth-based ceremonial practice that aligns with the magic and power of Her Creativity .
It is offered as a ceremonial journey into the Creativity of the Cosmos as it is expressed in the Seasonal Moments of our Planet, in your particular place, and with Goddess metaphor. It may strengthen your sense of belonging and connection to this Earth and Cosmos, in your particular place, and in your unique presence, through practices of relationship, Goddess images, meditations and ceremonial conversation with Her.
The Triple Spiral motif engraved at Bru-na-Boinne (Newgrange) in Ireland is understood to express this cosmology.

PaGaian Cosmology is an eco-spirituality grounded in the Pagan/Indigenous tradition of Old Europe, linked to story of the unfolding Universe, and Triple Goddess Poetry. It celebrates the Creativity of the Cosmos, expressed as She – within self, other and All.
The course is grounded in the seamlessness and balance of the layers of self – personal, social and cosmic, and nurtures deep Creativity. The whole of Gaia’s cycle provides an wholistic eco-psychology that can heal and create. It is a Poiesis: the making of a world.

Artemistress/facilitator: Glenys Livingstone Ph.D. (Social Ecology), author of PaGaian Cosmology: Re-inventing Earth-based Goddess Religion
Glenys offers her scholarship and decades of teaching, and centrally her experience in facilitating seasonal ceremony, with Earth/Cosmos and Goddess based expression.
From Douglas in Indiana, USA: This course will take you to the very Heart of the Cosmos. You will never be the same!
From Margaret in Tennessee, USA: I have always been attracted to religions of Nature (i.e. paganism), but it has always been more of a mind thing then a heart thing. As you emphasize, PaGaian Cosmology is a practice and so that is what I am mostly focusing on and I feel its magic blossoming in my heart. Thank you for everything.
From Lyndell in Ballina NSW Australia: I have found it to re-generate so many of my principles and values around areas such as justice, integrity, ethics, that I have become increasingly aware I have buried and compromised in order to live within, survive within, a patriarchal world. AND: The course has been so powerful in supporting this process of the re-birth of myself, and of the re-generation of the strength to stand up for myself and my values, that I cannot express how profound the process has been, …

Contemplating and celebrating the seasonal transitions is a method of getting with the essential plot of what it means to Be; and particularly what it means to be human – a storyteller with self-reflective consciousness; ceremony is a method of responding and conversing with the sentient Cosmos in which we live.
a video introduction: Situating in the Womb of Gaia: a PaGaian Contemplation of Her Creative Place
The human emerges within the life systems of Earth as that being in whom the universe reflects on and celebrates itself in a special mode of conscious self-awareness (Thomas Berry, Evening Thoughts, p.146)

A contributor: Glenys Livingstone Ph.D.
Glenys Livingstone Ph.D. has over thirty years experience on a Goddess path, which has included diverse spiritualities and a scientific perspective, inner work as well as academic scholarship. Her studies have been in theology, ritual, archaeomythology, social ecology, psychology, sociology and education.
Glenys is the author of PaGaian Cosmology: Re-inventing Earth-based Goddess Religion, which was an outcome of her doctoral work in Social Ecology from the University of Western Sydney. Glenys’ doctoral research was an experiential study of the three phases of the Triple Goddess – Virgin, Mother, Crone – as Creative Cosmological Dynamic, and the embodiment of Her in seasonal ritual as a catalyst for personal and cultural change. More recently, Glenys’ continued ritual practice of the seasonal Wheel of the Year and research, has deepened her identification of this Cosmic-Organic Creative Triplicity with the Triple Spiral engraved by the ancients at Newgrange (Bru na Boinne) in Ireland.
Glenys grew up in country Queensland Australia. Glenys considers herself a student of the Poetry of the Universe – a language expressed in scientific story, mythological metaphor, ancient and contemporary images of integrity, body movement and dance, stillness, chants and songs. By these means, she conducts geo-therapy – ecological reconnection – for herself and with others.
Glenys’ work is grounded in the Old European indigenous religious practice, integrated with evolutionary perspective and Goddess scholarship.
Glenys’ M.A. is in Theology and Philosophy and included education in liturgical practice at the Jesuit School of Theology Berkeley California. She lives in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney with her beloved Taffy (Robert) Seaborne, who is also a graduate of the School of Social Ecology and rich life experience. Glenys teaches, writes and facilitates the seasonal rituals in her Place with an open community.
