Today is the Autumn Cross-Quarter in the Northern Hemisphere. Among Neo-Pagans, the Cross-Quarter is commonly celebrated on October 31 as Samhain (pron. saw-in). It is the part of the origin of modern Halloween. The actual date of the cross-quarter falls about a week later on November 6 or 7.
