Some Facts about the Equal Rights Setback in the United States May Surprise you; by Starstuff, Contemplating

Like so many people around the world, I’m horrified (though not surprised – this danger was discussed in detail in a previous post, here and even earlier, here) by the gutting of women’s rights by the SCOTUS. So I want to share with you my playlist for each station on the Wheel of Year. Here’s the fourth list. Enjoy! And share your suggestions in the comments below.

The Summer Solstice is less than two weeks away, Plus online Celebrations!

Last year, I mistakenly thought that the pandemic was winding down.  I failed to realized that anti-science views were so strong in the United States that dozens of millions would avoid the life-saving vaccine, even when we have stockpiles (while poor countries go without), and I didn’t take the omicron mutation into account either.  I’ve marked the time a year ago on the graph above.  Back then I wrote: “With blinking eyes and cautious steps, somewhat like the Brood X cicadas swarming parts of the Eastern United States now, we are re-emerging as the pandemic winds down.  What stays?  What changes?”
