Samhain (The Fall Equitherm) Approaches (+ Online Rituals)!

Yes, John Astin – who played Gomez in the original Addams Family – is the only member of that cast who is alive. I’m grateful for what he’s given us, along with the rest of the cast and so many others.

This is one of the most sacred times of the year for me – a time when I feel my Ancestors even more closely than usual, as well as a time to remember those who have died this past year.  This year, Samhain is even more significant than usual, with the added deaths of millions of people worldwide from the covid pandemic.

In both recognition and celebration of the lives and contributions of all the dead, I’m nearly done with the house decorations, and our family is well along in doing our Samhain Ancestor card dinner graces (see below).  Samhain (the Fall Equitherm) is just a few days away!  Read More
