Our keynote speaker will be writer, poet, and podcaster Jarod K. Anderson (creator of The CryptoNaturalist Podcast), who has built a large audience of social media followers and podcast listeners with his vibrant appreciations of nature. Ranging from optimistic contemplations of mortality to appreciations of single-celled organisms, Jarod is forever writing love letters to the natural world. His poetry collections (Field Guide to the Haunted Forest and Love Notes from the Hollow Tree) have over 1,200 5-star reviews on Amazon and his forthcoming memoir about a lifelong struggle with depression and reconnecting with nature will be published in 2024 by Timber Press, part of Hachette Book Group.
