Happy Winter Solstice, or Yule! Of course, our spherical planet also gives us the beautiful symmetry of the Summer Solstice (Litha) being celebrated now by our Southern Hemisphere friends.

That’s quite a wonderful poem — thank you. The poetry of light and darkness is irresistible, but it’s tempting to reduce that to a simplistic “good vs. evil.” I appreciate this perspective of honoring the darkness.
