Join us for a LIVE gathering of Atheopagans (a type of Naturalistic Pagan) at the magnificent La Foret retreat center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, August 30 – September 2 (Labor Day Weekend) 2024!
Presented by The Atheopagan Society, this 4-day, 3-night retreat will feature workshops, rituals and lots of socializing time in beautiful spaces and around the fire. The facility includes a magnificent meeting space, the Ponderosa Lodge; a fire circle; a beautiful labyrinth and more. I was there for the previous Atheopagan retreat in 2022 – what a treasured part of my life! I’m definitely coming back for this one!
The activities, workshops and schedule for Suntree Retreat are out! CLICK HERE for the pdf showing all the cool stuff!
Some of the wonderful memories from last time include powerful outdoor rituals, fun times around the campfire, matching faces with well known voices in our community, and more. As with the many ways we deepened our Paganism at the previous Suntree Retreat, this time you can establish and empower your own spiritual practices, to strengthen you for the rest of your life – there will be events including group rituals, guided nature therapy, morning spiritual practices, making your own Cosmala, primitive survival skills, and much more.
Please visit this link to review conduct standards and harassment policies for this event. This is
important: we want this to be a safe, inclusive event.
The event ticket price is $250 plus lodging and linens (if needed), which includes meals (dinner Friday through breakfast Monday) and the event itself. Linens for yurt or cabin beds are $20; Lodging options range from inexpensive choices such as tent or RV camping onsite or group bunkhouse-style lodging in yurts, up to private rooms in a cabin or off-site lodging in nearby hotels. Please visit here to see the options and fill out your registration form, and then remit your registration in US dollars to the link provided.
This is going to be an AMAZING event and you need to be there!
Editor’s note: this is a slightly updated version of the post on the Atheopagan blog, here.
